Meet Dr. Minch
Dr. Minch started his career at the University of Virginia (undergraduate) and continued to the University of Maryland Dental School. Since then, he has created one of the finest advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry practices in Maryland (focusing primarily in the Lutherville, Timonium, Towson, Pikesville and Owings Mills areas).
Dr. Minch took over his family dentist’s practice (Dr. H. Stanley Levy) shortly after completing his Dental Residency at Sinai Hospital. Already a thriving family practice, he aspired to maintain the family feel of the practice while increasingly offering the latest in technology and the highest level of cosmetic and advanced restorative treatment.
Having built and maintained one of the most innovative practices in the Baltimore area, Dr. Minch feels strongly about passing on the knowledge and philosophy he has developed; this is exemplified best by his commitment to teaching at:
- The University of Maryland Dental School (Clinical Supervision)
- The John’s Hopkins Hospital (“Concepts of Complete Dentistry”)
- The John’s Hopkins Hospital (10+ years)
Healthcare around the world is not necessarily as sophisticated as it is here in the United States; therefore, many Royal Families come to The Johns Hopkins Hospital for advanced evaluation and treatment. Those with dental challenges are sent to Dr. Minch- he has restored and cosmetically enhanced the smiles of princes and princesses from around the globe.
Additionally, Dr. Minch was appointed to be a Visiting Faculty Member at Spear Education at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry (speareducation.com) – one of only 75 dentists in the country to be awarded this honor. Some of the finest dentists in the country come to the Spear Institute to hone their skills in a never-ending quest to achieve the finest dentistry possible. Dr. Minch is especially proud to be associated with such a prestigious learning facility.
Dr. Minch and his wife Julie have a beautiful blended family consisting of Teddy, Joey, Rachel, and Danielle… oh, and let’s not forget about Charlie, their playful golden retriever! When he isn’t practicing dentistry, Dr. Minch enjoys many hobbies including music, photography, cooking, travel and woodworking.
