Donnell, a photographer in his 30s, never had regular dental care and was so embarrassed by his front teeth that he took to wearing a gold overlay splint to hide them. He wore it for so long, in fact, that it caused the teeth to decay further. When Donell first came to me, he was developing his photography business and knew that he had to have his teeth restored in order for clients to take him seriously. After a number of extractions, root canals and finally porcelain crowns and bridges, Donnell reports that he now has more work than he can handle.
